Gold BJJ offered at Ground Rules Academy

Over the past few weeks we’ve been sampling BJJ gis from various manufactures in search of products to offer our team, and one company clearly stands out.

Gold BJJ (goldbjj.com) is a small business in San Diego run by jiu jitsu athletes. In conversations with their co-founder Cole South, it’s clear that their values and business philosophy align with ours: focus on quality.

I ordered a black, A3L Foundation gi and it arrived in 2 days (I’m still waiting on the gis I ordered from other manufacturers). I’ve trained in it a few times and I love the fit. I am a lanky 6’4” at 225lbs and the A3L feels like it was cut just for me. The feel is comfortable and durable without being too heavy. After a few washes the black color is holding strong.

I will definitely be going back to sample the rest of the Gold BJJ product line so that I can help inform our Ground Rules Academy students on which gi is best for each of them.
